​​The Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia held a celebration on the occasion of #WorldArabicLanguageDay in collaboration with Sheikh Anta Diop University in the Senegalese capital, Dakar, represented by the Arabic Language Department at the university. Saudi Arabia's contribution comes to enhance the role of the Arabic language regionally and globally, highlighting its value that reflects the linguistic depth of Arab and Islamic culture. The aim is to enhance its status, appreciate the efforts of individuals and institutions serving it, encourage their progress, foster belonging to it, and promote the preservation of the Arabic language, taking care of it and developing ways to use it. The event was attended by the esteemed Dean of the Faculty of Science, Education, and Training, faculty members of the Arabic Language Department, members of the General Secretariat of the National Association of Arabic Language Teachers in the Republic of Senegal, heads of Islamic associations, as well as a large number of university students and Arabic language enthusiasts, along with members of the diplomatic corps.​
